The museum opens to the public for the season. Regular hours begin: Tuesday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Weekends by appointment. Closed Mondays.

Annual Events

These events happen every year. Exact dates for 2026 will be announced on our Facebook page, updated on this website, and shared in our newsletter.

Weekly Cash Lottery Draws

July – August

200 tickets at $10.00 each. Each ticket gives 8 weekly chances to win $100.00. Winners announced on Facebook.

Christmas in July Take-Out Tea

Mid-July (Wednesday)

Sandwiches and sweets with beverages. Museum decked out for Christmas. Gift Shop open for some early Christmas shopping.

Penny Auction & Community Breakfast

Third Saturday in July

Breakfast 7:00–10:30 AM (eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, local maple syrup). Museum open 8:00–10:30 AM during breakfast. Penny auction with prizes for all ages. Draws at 11:00 AM.

4-H Achievement Day & Community Breakfast

Saturday in August

In conjunction with the PM Community Centre breakfast. Museum open 8:00–10:30 AM during breakfast, and 9:00 AM–1:00 PM.

“Talents and Treasures” Silent/Online Auction

August (Wednesday)

Annual auction featuring talents and treasures from the community.

Blueberry Dessert Take-Out Tea

September (Wednesday)

Sandwiches and a blueberry dessert with beverages. Meal pick-up 11:30 AM–4:00 PM.

Museum Christmas Party

December (Monday evening)

At the PM Community Hall. Potluck supper, Chinese Auction of Christmas items, Santa for the children, draw for the annual raffle quilt. Open to all volunteers, members and guests.
