In our Research Centre we have numerous family and community histories, as well as other information available for in-house use. A valuable resource for genealogical research into Lunenburg County families.

Research Centre Guidelines
  • Please do not remove items from the Research area
  • No food or beverages in the area
  • Handle one item at a time, returning each to its place
  • Use only pencils (available from staff)
  • Do not bend, mark, or remove pages
  • Staff will provide white cotton gloves for fragile items
  • Photocopies available if the Museum has copyright permission

The Research Centre is available during regular museum hours (Tuesday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, May through September). Staff are happy to assist with your research. For inquiries, call 902-644-2893.
